Join Tiercon as a Project Engineer - Automotive Exterior Trim

Tiercon is a leading automotive supplier committed to delivering high-quality exterior trim and assembled systems as original equipment in the automotive market. Our Stoney Creek facility is equipped with design, mold, paint, assembly, and testing capabilities, and we are seeking a knowledgeable and self-directed Project Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide program leadership and customer interface as assigned by the Project Engineering Manager.
  • Accountable for executing CMM/Gauge fixtures with Quality Department input.
  • Responsible for executing packaging (WIP and F/G).
  • Assist and maintain business documents (BOM, VSM, Asset Tracking, and Balance Sheet).
  • Participate in upfront inputs in the areas of design analysis and costing.
  • Lead or assist special projects and continuous improvement.
  • Participate with other departments in identifying, analyzing, and implementing corrective actions to non-conformances or production/quality problems.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree/diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership, project management, technical writing, APQP, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, and CAD Applications.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in automotive production environment, with 3-5 years in program launches.
  • Injection molding, painting, stamping, and roll form and assembly processes experience.
