Position Overview

As a Class 1 Owner Operator for Tanker, you will be responsible for transporting chemical liquids using multi-compartment tankers. This role involves working primarily during the day from Monday to Friday, ensuring timely and safe deliveries in the Greater Montreal Area and its surroundings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute pickups and deliveries efficiently within designated regions.
  • Utilize equipment such as compressors, pumps, and blowers for effective operations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and safety checks on tankers prior to departure.
  • Maintain consistent communication with Dispatch regarding your progress, addressing any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a clean driving record and pass a criminal background check.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating tractor trailers.
  • At least 6 months of tanker experience is required.
  • Tractor must be from 2010 or newer.
  • TDG certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to operate either a Day Cab or Sleeper truck.
