Armored Vehicle Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Armored Vehicle Inspector to join our team at INKAS Group of Companies. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our armored and retrofitted vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Exterior Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of bulletproof and retrofitted vehicles to ensure that exterior priming and color coats, sealers, and glazers meet our high standards.
- Electrical System Testing: Test armored and non-armored vehicle electrical assemblies, equipment, and wiring to ensure proper performance using advanced testing devices.
- Auto Parts Inspection: Inspect auto parts and fully assembled armored and non-armored vehicles to identify defects and ensure that they have been corrected.
- Production Data Entry: Enter and retrieve production data using our company's ERP system.
- Vehicle Testing: Drive and test bulletproof and retrofitted vehicles on roll testing devices to ensure that transmission, axle, engine, and brakes function properly.
- Additional Duties: Perform other specific duties as directed by management.
- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in armored vehicle manufacturing.
- Skills: Working experience of armored and non-armored vehicles, ability to recognize performance problems, and arrange for corrective action.
- Qualifications: Ability to follow established procedures and practices, read instructions, blueprints, etc.
- Additional Qualifications: Additional experience in an automotive OEM quality environment to ensure proper performance and compliance with acceptable quality and time standards, including ISO9001, VPAM, STANAG.
- Health and Safety: General knowledge of health and safety and other equivalent standards.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices, work independently as well as part of a team, and possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
We offer a competitive wage of $23.97 per hour and an 8-hour shift schedule. This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
