At Element Fleet Management, we're redefining the fleet management industry to prioritize people and deliver exceptional client experiences. We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to our modernization initiative.

About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned developer with expertise in React, Java, and Spring Boot to design, develop, and maintain web applications. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll collaborate with our team leads, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and delivery of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React
  • Integrating with back-end services using RESTful APIs, JSON, and other modern technologies
  • Writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Selenium, and other tools
  • Working with our DevOps team to improve our CI/CD pipeline
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues
  • Leading a team of offshore developers, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the quality and delivery of our projects
  • Optimizing the stack for performance, security, and scalability within new projects and existing code
  • Following best practices and coding standards
  • Documenting code and functionality
  • Contributing to our component library to ensure a robust component-based framework

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or commensurate work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of React, HTML, CSS, JS, and Java/C#
  • Experience with web development tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, Maven, and other modern technologies
  • Experience with databases such as PostGres, MongoDB, and other popular databases
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, and other popular version control systems
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and other popular cloud platforms
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and other popular DevOps tools
