Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic III-2 to join our team at PCI Pharma Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our packaging and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate various packaging and production equipment
  • Adjust equipment to ensure production runs are executed efficiently, with high quality and minimal waste
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on packaging and production equipment
  • Assist in the equipment procurement process by providing technical/mechanical input
  • Participate in projects as assigned, including installation and moving of equipment
  • Implement and support a safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
Requirements
  • Experienced Licensed Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A), and/or 6 to 10 years of working experience exclusively as a technician in a pharmaceutical packaging environment
  • General technical knowledge and experience concerning electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC
  • Familiarity with fill, blistering, bottling, capping, carton packaging, and serialization equipment is a strong asset
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Industrial or Construction and Maintenance Electrician (442A or 309A) or electrical aptitude able to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Fabrication and basic TIG welding
  • Experience as a technician working on complex pharmaceutical or food packaging equipment
