We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at GURJANT SINGH VIRK. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to infants and children in a family setting.
Responsibilities:- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring children receive a balanced diet.
- Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the family.
- Organized and reliable, with excellent time management skills.
- Patience and understanding when dealing with children's behavior and emotions.
- Honesty and integrity, with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
Experience an asset, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
