Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician - Traction to join our team at STM. As an Electrical Technician - Traction, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, installation, and repair work on our traction systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance, installation, and repair work on traction systems, including posts, substations, and distribution networks.
  • Work on high-voltage systems, including 750V and 12kV/25kV distribution networks.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair work on electrical systems, including circuit breakers and disconnectors.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of our traction systems.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Industrial Electronics or equivalent in Electrodynamics.
  • Valid Class 3 driver's license.
  • Meet STM's medical requirements.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
  • Consideration will be given to equivalent education completed outside of Quebec and Canada, in accordance with official standards.
