Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements related to supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, production, sales, logistics, and more.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and SCM needs.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify gaps for improvement.

Solution Design & Configuration:

  • Design Dynamics 365 SCM solutions that align with client business processes and optimize their supply chain operations.
  • Configure D365 SCM modules such as procurement, inventory management, sales and operations planning, demand forecasting, and warehouse management.
  • Provide recommendations for best practices and enhancements for D365 SCM.

Implementation & Deployment:

  • Lead the implementation process, including setup, configuration, customization, and data migration.
  • Develop functional specifications for system enhancements and work with technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Oversee system integration with other D365 modules (Finance, Retail, etc.) and third-party applications as needed.

Training & Support:

  • Deliver end-user training sessions and create training materials for the client's SCM team.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for any SCM-related issues.
  • Assist in upgrades and roll-out of additional functionality as required.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with the project management team to create project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, managing client expectations.
  • Provide regular status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
  • Provide thought leadership in process improvement, industry best practices, and D365 SCM advancements.
  • Assist with business development activities such as solution demonstrations and pre-sales support.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management or AX.
  • Proven experience in SCM processes such as inventory management, procurement, demand planning, warehouse management, and production.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or in-house ERP implementation teams.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 SCM modules and functionalities (Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Understanding of integration points between D365 SCM and other D365 modules (e.g., Finance, HR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, or X++ (desirable, but not required).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM Functional Consultant certification (preferred).
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Finance and Operations certification (preferred).

Preferred Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Industry experience in manufacturing, retail, or distribution sectors.
  • Experience with supply chain optimization and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with agile or waterfall project management methodologies.
