About the Role
goeasy Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Analytics department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of risk analysis, monitoring, and controls to ensure sound and consistent credit risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and patterns in credit performance, and develop predictive models to forecast credit risk.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of reports to evaluate the overall credit risk of the portfolio, and provide regular updates to senior management on key risk indicators.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, and communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Hold a University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong knowledge of quantitative methodologies, risk models, and data analysis tools, including SQL and SAS.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
