Job Title: Teacher Librarian

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher Librarian to join our team at McLeod Elementary. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instructional support and promoting a love of reading among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote literacy and critical thinking skills
• Manage the school library and its resources to ensure accessibility and effectiveness
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curriculum
• Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in library and information technology

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Library Science or related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
