### Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Professional to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a School Age Leader, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and programming for children in our care.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, providing excellent communication and service
* Implement the YMCA A Place to Connect curriculum, with support from your leader
* Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate programs of activities
* Ensure all safety and supervision standards are implemented and maintained according to licensing and YMCA requirements

### Qualifications

* Must be 19 years of age and able to provide three professional references
* Responsible Adult certification, equivalent child-related training, or a willingness to obtain training
* Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search
* Current Child Care First Aid, CPR, and AED certification or willingness to obtain
