Job Overview:
The Canadian Cancer Society is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive analytics strategies, incorporating AI and machine learning techniques, to support business objectives and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced analytics projects, leveraging expertise in data science, statistics, and modeling.
- Mentor and lead a team of data analysts, fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and translate complex findings into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Develop and manage business intelligence solutions to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Leverage advanced methodologies and technologies to tell data-driven stories that inform business decisions.
- Oversee the creation and management of analytics tools and systems, ensuring accurate performance predictions and audience behaviors insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability while maintaining data security and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Act as a subject matter expert and technical guide, guiding the development of scalable solutions, translating business requirements into well-architected solutions, and developing effort estimates for implementation.
- Identify and document risks, recommending contingency plans.
- Works within Agile project methodologies, collaborating with business and technology teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related experience.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques.
- A minimum of 5+ years in analytics.
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
