We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Gunn Family Baking Inc. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing dough for various baked goods, requisitioning materials, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Bake mixed dough and batters
- Prepare special orders
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Our bakery is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is crucial. You will be working in a standing position for extended periods, and you must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Client focus, dependability, judgement, reliability, and team player skills
This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English, and public transportation is available.
