At Johnson & Johnson, we are committed to advancing healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes. We are seeking an Associate Director, Real World Evidence Methods, to lead our efforts in shaping and delivering real-world evidence (RWE) strategies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacoepidemiology, data science, or outcomes research, with experience in managing outcomes research studies and developing RWE strategies. They will be responsible for leading partnerships with local, regional, and global teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure new ways of accessing and analyzing data.

The Associate Director will work closely with internal functions to provide scientific expertise in shaping and developing RWE solutions across therapeutic areas of interest to Janssen. This role is pivotal in setting scientific standards for RWE research at Janssen Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and experience in managing outcomes research studies applying health economics, patient-reported outcomes, retrospective data analyses, epidemiology, and/or health services research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of RWE strategies and solutions across therapeutic areas of interest to Janssen.
  • Manage partnerships with local, regional, and global teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure new ways of accessing and analyzing data.
  • Provide scientific expertise in shaping and developing RWE solutions across therapeutic areas of interest to Janssen.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to ensure high RWE standards and best practice sharing.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology, Data Science, or Outcomes Research.
  • Experience in managing outcomes research studies and developing RWE strategies.
  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience in managing outcomes research studies applying health economics, patient-reported outcomes, retrospective data analyses, epidemiology, and/or health services research.
