Key Responsibilities

As a Food Service Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing effective methods to meet work schedules.

  • Training team members in their job duties, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Estimating the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hiring and onboarding new food service staff.
  • Ensuring that food quality and service meet established standards.
  • Preparing budgets and cost estimates for operations.
  • Addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Preparing and submitting reports on operational performance.
  • Summarizing food orders for the chef.
  • Supervising the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establishing work schedules for staff.
Work Conditions

This position typically requires:
