We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Gold Star Wholesale Furniture Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Shipper-Receiver will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. This includes determining the method of shipment, scheduling distribution, and preparing shipping documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine Method of Shipment: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping method for our goods.
  • Schedule Distribution: Coordinate with our logistics team to ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Accurately complete and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Inspect and Verify Goods: Inspect incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, inventory, and other relevant data.
  • Pack and Unpack Goods: Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
  • Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
