Position Overview

Tapis Venture is seeking a dedicated and experienced Textile Processing Supervisor to oversee our production team. This role is essential in ensuring that our textile processing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Candidates should possess a relevant trades certificate or diploma, or have equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: The role will be conducted in a noisy setting, typical of textile production facilities.
  • Task Management: You will be responsible for establishing methods to meet production schedules, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Personnel Management: This includes recommending hiring and promotion actions, requisitioning materials, and supervising the activities of a team of 5-10 workers, including labourers and machine operators.
  • Training: You will train staff in their job duties, safety protocols, and company policies.
Work Conditions

The position requires:

  • Ability to distinguish colors and attention to detail.
  • Physical capabilities to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Weight handling of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
