About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Application Development Team Lead to lead a team in the design, development, and implementation of software programs and applications. As a key member of our client's IT team, you will be responsible for managing application delivery through the development lifecycle, providing guidance and mentorship to the development team, and leading the technical design and development of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage application delivery of projects through development lifecycle: estimation, planning, execution, transfer, and sustainment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team on industry best practices, department standards, and technical skills.
- Lead the technical design and development of applications through hybrid Agile project lifecycles.
- Communicate effectively in all business relationships and through various levels of management and end-users in a clear and direct manner, providing a customer service-oriented experience to the organization.
- Manage project scope changes; develop change management strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years experience in Application Development with 3 to 5 years managerial experience.
- Proficiency in one or more coding languages (C#, VB.Net).
- Experience with web-based architectures and design practices such as ASP.Net,.Net Core, JS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of database design and queries, SQL (MS SQL Server 2014), DB2 (iSeries).
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
- Strong analytical skills are a must, with a focus on gathering requirements and recommending solution.
