Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineering Technologist to join our team at St. Clair College. As a Biomedical Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing medical equipment, assisting in the inspection and testing of electronic components, and calibrating electronic equipment and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist in the inspection and testing of electronic components to identify any defects or malfunctions.
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Work in a laboratory setting to conduct tests and experiments.
  • Use MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word to manage data and communicate with colleagues.
  • Have a strong understanding of medical and biomedical equipment and systems.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory setting.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
