Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our team in the role of Co-op Student - Electrical Engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where you will contribute to OPG's public outreach, engagement, and education efforts as part of the company's commitment to growing its social license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of public outreach and engagement strategies
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of educational materials and programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address community needs and concerns
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry and record-keeping
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time, post-secondary student in a recognized institution
  • Have completed a minimum of 1st year in college or an undergraduate program at university by the start of the opportunity
  • Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA
  • Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term or require the work term or co-op placement to graduate
