Job Title: Delicatessen Supervisor

City Avenue Market is seeking a skilled Delicatessen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our supermarket team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Supervise and train deli staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Process customer transactions, handle customer complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of deli products, including meats, cheeses, and other specialty items.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
