About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at JSJ AUTO. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Diagnose and repair or replace faulty parts and components, ensuring all work is done to manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Thoroughly test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications and are functioning properly.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately document all work performed, including problems encountered and repairs made, to maintain a record of vehicle history.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Possess a valid trade certification in automotive service technology.
  • Driving Record Check: Have a clean driving record, with no convictions for driving-related offenses.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a certificate or diploma in a related field, with at least one year of experience in a similar role.
