Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Pain Rehabilitation Clinic Inc. This role involves providing therapeutic massage services to clients in a supportive and professional environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a rehabilitation center, focusing on the health and well-being of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Utilize various massage techniques including soft tissue manipulation and hydrotherapy.
  • Conduct assessments through range of motion and muscle tests to propose tailored treatment strategies.
  • Communicate procedures, risks, and benefits clearly to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments administered.
  • Provide guidance on home care and self-management techniques.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Fascial stretch therapy (FST) Certification.
  • Certification from a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
Safety and Security
  • Basic security clearance required.
  • Driver's validity license check.
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and capability to handle repetitive tasks.
