About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Custom Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Unlimited Fabrication Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate fabrication.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates, operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal, and cut materials using power tools or by hand.

Assembly and Installation

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Welding Techniques

Apply gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) techniques to join sheet metal parts.

Transportation and Travel

Ensure a valid driver's license is maintained to transport equipment and materials as required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.

Personal Protective Equipment

Ensure the use of steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs as required.
