Country Grocer Bowen Road is seeking a dedicated Café/Buffet Clerk to become part of our dynamic team. The primary responsibilities of the Café/Buffet Clerk include preparing and cooking food items for our in-store buffet offerings. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness in the work area and performing closing duties, including thorough cleaning. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook buffet items for customer purchase Adhere to Food Safety protocols consistently Ensure adequate food quantities are prepared to meet daily demand Assist customers by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times

Qualifications:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting Preferred: 1 year of cooking experience Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills FoodSafe certification is preferred; however, support for obtaining certification will be provided Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with customers Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic Competence in basic calculations and numerical figures Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
