Job Summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Yard Attendant to join our team. As a Yard Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse and yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Material Handling: Assist in loading and unloading freight, ensuring that all materials are properly secured and stored.
  • Yard Operations: Monitor and maintain the yard, ensuring that all areas are clean and organized, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and report any incidents or hazards to management.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
