Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Gift Shop Sales Associate to join our team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Ring in sales on point-of-sale systems using various payment methods
  • Fill stock and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Previous experience with lottery terminals and knowledge of Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission regulations is an asset
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Gift Shop Manager
  • Scheduled shifts will be days, evenings, and weekends
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Patient and Family Centred Care philosophy
  • Adherence to the Hospital's Code of Conduct
  • Good attendance record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
