Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Park Inn by Radisson Toronto-Markham. This is a permanent position that offers a dynamic work environment.

Key Details

Work Environment

The position is based in an urban setting, specifically within a hotel, motel, or resort.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to efficiently clear away debris, dirt, and refuse.
  • Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Perform minor appliance repairs as needed.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a building service worker course.
  • Possession of a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
