Job Overview:
The Scrum Master is expected to possess the following Essential Skills and Experience: A minimum of four (4) years' experience in a Scrum Master capacity, showcasing expertise in the following functions: Facilitate all Scrum-related events, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and product demonstrations. Track relevant metrics that assist the team in assessing their performance and utilizing these metrics to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness. Act as a liaison among product management, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to promote effective communication. Provide adequate oversight on the team's progress to ensure timely delivery of outcomes. Ensure all Scrum activities are documented, maintained, and reported on a daily basis. Identify and eliminate obstacles, ensuring product quality and timely delivery of tasks. Mentor, train, and coach team members. Proficiency in the following methodologies: Agile Project Management Methodology. Familiarity with Agile-supporting tools such as JIRA, RALLY, MINGLE, and Zen hub. Experience in a scaled Agile environment. Background in coaching Junior Scrum Masters. Experience collaborating with multiple teams/partners for a product. Ability to define metrics and processes that support organizational and program/portfolio processes. Understanding of Project Management Process Groups and Knowledge Areas as outlined in the PMBOK Guide; and familiarity with SDLC Waterfall Methodology.
