We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Hope Wellness Centre Inc. as a key member of our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our team, ensuring smooth operation of equipment, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Operations Management: Oversee the operation of equipment, ensure maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely manner, and establish work schedules and procedures to optimize productivity.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports to management, and communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards, and implement measures to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Materials Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
