About the Role:

The Registered Nurse:

  • Delivers nursing care to Long-term Care residents, both autonomously and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Enhances the quality of life for patients and their families; engages in consultation and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Commits to continuous improvement and evidence-based practices in nursing.
  • Maintains and develops personal clinical expertise.
  • Participates in designated committees and approved research initiatives as required.


In Long-term Care, our patient-centered approach is designed to honor individual preferences, support optimal functioning, and ensure the highest quality of life possible.

Our standard nursing schedules consist of 12-hour shifts, including both Day and Night shifts with rotating days off.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with current registration from the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Additional education in gerontology is considered an asset.
