Job Title: Electrical Technician

Ponath Management Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work setting: Construction, various locations
  • Security and safety: Bondable, basic security clearance, criminal record check, driving record check (abstract)
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, attention to detail, tight deadlines
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, team player
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to work at various locations and may be required to travel.
