Project Manager at Canonical

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring project success through effective stakeholder engagement, risk management, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Collaborate with project team members, stakeholders, and sponsors to ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate project team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in project management tools and methodologies.
