About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at Cora Breakfast and Lunch Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.

Cooking and Food Preparation

Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.

Staff Training and Development

Train and develop our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Inventory Management

Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we have the resources needed to meet customer demand.

Cleanliness and Safety

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Personal Qualities

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
