We are seeking a dedicated Painter to join our team at Apple Constructions and Renovations. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through expert painting techniques.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience.
The position involves working in various settings, including:
- Outdoor locations
- Underground sites
- Elevated areas
- Confined spaces
- Odorous environments
- Prepare and clean surfaces to ensure optimal painting conditions.
- Repair any imperfections such as cracks and holes.
- Mix paints to achieve the desired color and texture.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other decorative materials.
- Provide guidance to clients on color selections and wall coverings.
- Set up scaffolding and swing stages as needed.
- Apply various materials and finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
- Estimate project costs and required materials.
- Equipment Experience: Proficient in brush and roller painting techniques.
- Surface Preparation: Familiarity with drywall taping and sandblasting.
- Specialization: Experience in aggregate painting, decorative effects, and paint spraying.
- Wall Covering: Knowledge of wallpaper and vinyl applications.
- Must pass a criminal record check.
- Willingness to travel for various job assignments.
- Demonstrates flexibility and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Capability to distinguish between different colors.
- Physical stamina for bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
