Technical Coordinator, Anatomic Surgical Pathology, BC Children's and Women's Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Coordinator to join our team at BC Children's and Women's Hospital. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing technical guidance and support to staff within the Anatomic Surgical Pathology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical guidance and advice to staff on laboratory procedures and protocols.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standardized policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate technical activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new instrumentation and methodology.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of procedure manuals.
- Certified by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science.
- Bachelor of Science degree or an Advanced Registered certificate or completion of a supervisory/management program plus a minimum of three (3) years' recent, related experience.
- Valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
