About the Role:

We're looking for a dynamic individual who shares our passion for food and hospitality. As a Cook 1, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, using fresh ingredients and following recipes and menu guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and hotel policies.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to menu development and innovation, suggesting new ideas and dishes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Journeyman or working towards Red Seal certification.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule and willingness to work AM and PM shifts.
