About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at AnyDay Plumbing & Renos. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our carpenters with various tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Responsibilities
  • Assist carpenters with construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.
  • Operate various power tools, such as bushing guns, reciprocating saws, and circular saws.
  • Assist with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years or more of experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
