Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to clients and patrons, maintaining effective relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Patrols and Surveillance: Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, noting any concerns and taking prompt action to resolve them.
  • Emergency Response: Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner, liaising with emergency personnel as needed.
  • Crisis Management: De-escalate crisis situations, provide support, and liaise with emergency personnel, including police, fire, and paramedic resources.
  • Crowd Control: Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Reporting: Write clear and detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and day-to-day reports, as required.
  • First Aid: Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s), ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Communication: Utilize two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities and maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Lost and Found: Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries, providing a high level of customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • License: Class 5 Advanced License or higher
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; excellent customer service skills; strong observational skills; ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations with minimal supervision; ability to walk 18/20km and stairs.
