Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet production demands.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory, sales, and wastage.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with kitchen staff, management, and customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
