About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Manager at 1035035 BC Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to manage the housekeeping department, including budgeting and payroll.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that all housekeeping services meet the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Human Resources
    • Recruit, train, and develop housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Manage employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Work with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure that they have a positive experience.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who are displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
    • Help them to access foreign credential recognition and other support services.
  • Support for Youths
    • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
    • Work with other departments to develop programs and services that support youth employment and development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
