Job Title: Construction Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Harman Elite Construction Ltd. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing the site for construction, including leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from the site.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and storage.
  • Support for Youths and Indigenous People: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
  • General Labor: Perform routine maintenance work and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Anglais (English) language of work.
