Ground Handler Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Ground Handler to join our team at Executive Aviation. As a Ground Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our airport ground services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations and airline procedures.
  • Operate ground service equipment and drive vehicles safely.
  • Marshall and wing-walk aircraft to gate.
  • Sort, load, and offload guest baggage according to load plans.
  • Deliver guest baggage to the claim area and unload onto the conveyor system.
  • Service aircraft water and lavatories.
  • Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove/dispose of when found.
  • Groom aircraft, cleaning the cabin, galleys, lavatories, and restocking lavatory supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel, and push/pull for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs/32kgs consistently.
  • Willingness to work outside in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear safety gear, including steel toe boots, reflective vests, and hearing protection.
  • Meet all conditions of employment, including a Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada, a clean driver's abstract, and a valid driver's license.
