Job Title: AI2 Personalization Data Science Associate
Job Summary:
The AI2 Associate Program is a 1-year enhanced development opportunity in analytics and data. As a Personalization Data Science Associate, you will perform a variety of activities, including applying advanced machine learning methods to conduct data-driven research, collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities for process optimization, and building innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced machine learning methods to conduct data-driven research and make tangible recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for process optimization and informed decision-making.
- Work with structured and unstructured data and prepare data sets for machine learning through integration, cleaning, feature engineering, scaling, and transforming data.
- Build production-scale solutions and work with deployment teams to integrate in business operations.
- Leverage visualization methods to represent results and communicate outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- Must be graduating by June 2025 with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Data Analytics or related field of study.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills as well as a passion for analytics are necessary.
- Experience with analyzing large data sets, drawing insights, and inferences, and communicating outputs.
- Experienced in one or more of: Big Data – Programming, Data/Text Mining, Optimization, Algorithm Development, Automation, Data Visualization, Simulation; Machine Learning – Predictive Analytics, Regression, Logit Modeling, Discrete Choice, Propensity Modeling, Natural Language Processing.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with one or more of: R, Python, Spark, SQL, SAS, Java, or C/C++.
- Technical knowledge or experience with Hadoop and Cloud environments as well as experience with Data Management, and Project Management are a plus.
- Must have strong leadership qualities including demonstrating initiative, establishing priorities, and using strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to add value to each initiative, project, or team assigned to.
- Able to participate as part of a team with targeted deliverables, working on initiatives designed to improve decisions, processes, systems, and applications which support our key businesses.
- Remain current with emerging trends and technologies in Data Science.
