Pro Vita Care Management Inc. is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of care for the elderly population. This full-time, permanent position involves travel across various locations to provide essential education and support to nursing and care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver leadership and guidance to nursing and care personnel.
- Engage in the planning, development, execution, and assessment of orientation and ongoing internal training programs.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and oversee the evaluation and enhancement of resident care.
- Design and implement comprehensive hands-on training sessions at multiple facilities.
- Mentor and coach staff, developing actionable plans and strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Conduct audits and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Contribute to various organizational committees.
- Assist in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of documentation and reporting systems to ensure accurate records and effective communication within care programs.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program recognized by the BCCNM.
- Active registration with the BCCNM as either an LPN or RN.
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification and CPR A.
- Familiarity with RAI MDS Education in Gold Care or Point Click Care.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gerontology.
- Knowledge of geriatric care and the needs of adults with chronic illnesses.
- Specialized expertise in assessment and planning for clients with complex geriatric requirements.
This role is essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in care delivery within Pro Vita Care Management Inc.
