Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Testing and DevOps, you will play a crucial role in our software development lifecycle. We expect you to:

  • Demonstrate discipline in software development and DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and share your expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing software in accordance with specifications (SRS, Interface Designs).
  • Taking initiative on projects and tasks.
  • Upholding and reinforcing software development best practices.
  • Researching, testing, and implementing new technologies and methodologies.
  • Consulting with clients on technical decisions and project direction.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer or engineer, with at least 2 recent years in a DevOps role.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a software-related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in at least one major server-side programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java).
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization, preferably in a Linux environment.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, XP, Kanban, or Shape Up.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
Additional Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered a plus:

  • Full-stack web development experience.
  • Application testing expertise (unit, functional, E2E).
