Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance, and ensure that all necessary work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our money.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Work with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure that all necessary tasks are completed on time.
  • Supervise and Assist Cleaning Staff: Supervise and assist cleaning staff as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week

The Cleaning Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding workload. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
