The Role:
Livestock Canada is seeking a skilled Junior Web Merchandiser to join our team. This role involves optimizing the online curation and promotion of merchandise across both Livestock and size?.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Senior Web Merchandisers to ensure optimal product placement and content.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the funnel.
- Assist in managing the website content calendar, focusing on new launches, inventory availability, and marketing initiatives.
- Support the execution of curated category landing pages to reinforce the brand's relevance and point of view.
- Analyze web analytics to identify business opportunities and risks, and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging online trends and competitor strategies to inform the online category strategy.
- Ensure accurate pricing and promotional pricing coordination with internal teams.
- Leverage cross-selling techniques to increase average order size.
Requirements:
- 12 years' experience in a similar role.
- Prior E-Commerce experience required.
- E-Commerce platform experience; Shopify preferred.
- Knowledge of Algolia, Dynamic Yield, or similar merchandising, personalization, and testing platforms.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent proofreading skills and grammar skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
