About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Unique Store Fixtures Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as nail guns.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Clean and Organize: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and maintain a clean and organized work site.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to work in confined spaces and be exposed to dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
