Job Overview

First Student is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school in Mississauga, ON.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
What We Offer
  • $91.50 per day rate.
  • PAID TRAINING for new drivers.
  • 4-hour per day guarantee - split shift.
  • Additional hours available - charter route opportunities.
  • Child ride-along program.
  • No nights or weekends unless you choose.
